Lori Silverman, Principal Landscape Architect

Lori Silverman is a recognized leader in the design and realization of landscapes distinguished as poetic expressions of particular places. Her projects are known for their sustainability, environmental responsibility, accessibility, and response to community and client concerns.

Her experience includes public and private projects of historic and cultural significance on the east and west coasts, including award winning projects in California, Nevada and the Pacific Northwest.

Lori is known for her attention to detail and ability to provide clients responsive, thoughtful designs, which integrate creative, practical solutions into complex programmatic requirements and site conditions. From initial design through completion, she maintains focus on balancing project and client goals, budgets and schedules, while assuring design integrity.

Over the past twenty-six years she has demonstrated her ability to successfully participate with collaborative teams of architects, clients, consultants and city agencies through all phases of complex, multi-faceted public and private sectors projects and processes for large and small scale corporate campuses, housing and mixed use residential projects, educational & child care facilities, research and medical institutions, civic projects, commercial entities, recreation and parks, transportation terminals and corridors, and the entertainment industry, including extensive experience with on- structure systems.

A former partner with Campbell & Campbell, Lori directed the firm’s public and private sector landscape architecture, urban design and planning projects from inception through completion, long term maintenance and LEED and entitlement processes. Her east coast experience includes IBM corporate headquarters campus planning & design and mixed use redevelopment projects for Union Station Redesign in Washington, D.C. and South Street Seaport Fulton Market in New York City with Benjamin Thompson and Associates; and Capital Improvement Programs for historic neighborhood parks and Emerald Necklace Parks restoration with the City of Boston Parks & Recreation Planning and Development Office.

Ms. Silverman has degrees from Rhode Island School of Design and Temple University and is a registered Landscape Architect in the State of California.
